Day 01 : Bangalore - Chikmagalur
Our representative will welcome you at Bangalore and drive to Chikmagalur - famous for its hill stations and also popularly known as the coffee land of Karnataka. Chilmagalur is blessed with magnificent mountain ranges and superb valleys, amazing waterfalls, beautiful laid gardens, excellent visual treat for the tourists. On arrival at Chikmagalur, check in to the hotel and proceed to visit to Ayyanakere near Sakharayapatna village. The lake is known for its beautiful landscape with Shakunagiri hill in the background. Ayyanakere is a nice place to chill out during the evening. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02 : Chikmagalur Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Seethalayanagiri and Mullayanagiri. Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnataka state located in Bababudangiri range. The height of Mullayanagiri is 6330 ft (1,930 meters) and it is regarded as the highest peak between Himalayas and Nilgiris (Vehicles are allowed till Seethalayanagiri and you will need to do a small trek to Mullayanagiri). Then visit Kavikal Gandi Viewpoint located at the Kavikal Gandi checkpost in the Mullayangiri–Bababudangiri hill range. Then visit to Dabdabe Waterfalls (by Jeep on Direct Payment basis) this waterfall is also referred as Sagir Ahmed / Jhari / Butter Milk Waterfall, Honnamana halla (a small waterfall on road). Then drive to Baba Budan Giri, a range of mountains in Chikmagalur. Visit Sree Guru Dattatreya Baba Budan Swamy Durgah (temple and a durgah) at Baba Budangiri, a mountain in the Baba Budan or Dattagiri range of the Western Ghats. Enjoy the sip of hot Chikmagalur coffee at SIRI Coffee. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Chikmagalur - Sringeri - Kudremukh National Park - Kalasa
In the morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to drive to Sringeri - (Sringeri Sharada Peeta), the first mutt established by jagadguru Sri Adishankara (Shankracharya) and located on the banks of Tunga river. Sringeri is home to a number of historic temples. On arrival at Sringeri, visit to Sri Sharadamba temple and offer prayers to Goddess of Knowledge and get her blessings. Then visit nearest Sri Vidyashankara temple and other shrines in the temple premises. Then you can have lunch at temple dining hall. Then drive to Kalasa. (Enroute, enjoy the amazing beauty of Kudremukh National Park). Kalasa, a small scenic town situated in the Western Ghats of Chikmagalur district and blessed by nature with beautiful hills, rivers, valleys, viewpoints, waterfalls, forests, coffee/tea estates, temples, etc. Kalasa is one of the important shooting destinations of Karnataka and many south Indian movies are shot at this beautiful heaven on the earth. On arrival at Kalasa, check in to the hotel and relax. Evening, drive to Horanadu. Horanadu is a place of enchanting natural landscape in Chikmagalur district. First visit Horanadu View Point, where you have beautiful view of Horanadu and surrounding hills. Then visit ancient temple of the goddess Annapoorneshwari here has been restored and renamed the Adi – Shaktyatmaka Shree Annapoorneshwari. The main deity of Annapoorneshwari is made of gold. It is said that a person who seeks the blessings of Goddess would never have any scarcity for food in life. Get the divine blessings of Goddess Annapoorneshwari. Day 04 : Kalasa - Sakleshpur
In the morning, after breakfast, checkout the hotel and drive to Sakleshpur, a beautiful hill station town lies in the Western Ghats and surrounded with lofty green hills full of coffee, cardamom, pepper and areca plantations. On arrival at Sakleshpur, check in to the resort. Freshen up, then have the sumptuous lunch and relax for some time. After a relaxed tea/coffee, free for activities in the resort. Evening, campfire and dinner in the resort and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 05 : Sakleshpur - Mangalore
In the morning, after breakfast, checkout the hotel and drive to Mangalore - proclaimed as the gateway to Karnataka and lies nestled between the blue waters Arabian Sea and the towering hills of Western Ghats mountain range. On arrival at Mangalore, check in to the hotel and visit Panambur Beach, the most visited beach and it is popular for its picturesque sunsets, the beautiful port area and a picnic spot for tourists and locals alike and offers very good views of the sunset. Day 06 : Mangalore - Coorg
Morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Coorg - the Scotland of India nestled in the Western Ghats. On arrival at Coorg, proceed for the sightseeing at Talacauveri - located in the picturesque location of Brahmagiri hills. Talacauvery is the origin of River Kaveri, a beautiful Talacauvery Temple built around it, and then visit to Bhagamandala. Bhagamandala is famous for the confluence of the three sacred rivers Kaveri, Sujyothi and Kanike. Visit to the temple dedicated to Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva). After lunch, visit to Abbey Falls, one of the picturesque waterfalls of Karnataka situated amidst beautiful coffee estate with a hanging bridge for its beautiful view. Then visit to holy Omkareshwara Temple - a temple having both Islamic and Gothic style of architecture. Evening visit to Raja Seat - a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. Day 07 : Coorg
Morning after breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Coorg. Visit Dubare Elephant Camp, a forest camp on the banks of the River Kaveri where bathing and feeding the elephants are done by trained Naturalists. You can also enjoy river rafting, trekking and fishing at Dubare. Then proceed to Bylukuppe Tibettian Settlement (Golden Temple), largest Tibetan settlement holds a several monasteries of all major Vajrayana (Indo-Tibetan Buddhist) lineages. Return to the hotel and relax. Evening, drive to Kaveri Nisargadhama, a wonderful picnic spot situated on the banks of River Kaveri at Kushalanagar. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 : Coorg - Wayanad
After munching some healthy breakfast, check out from the resort and get the final glimpse of the Natural beauty at the resort and drive to Wayanad, the green paradise is picturesque mountainous plateau in the Western Ghats. On arrival at Wayanad, check in to the hotel and then visit Karlad Lake, where you can enjoy the adventure activities like Pedal Boat, Zip Line, Paint Ball, etc., Then you can visit to the Banasuramala Meenmutty Waterfalls (Small Meenmutti Waterfalls). Then visit Banasura Sagar Dam, an important tourist destination the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia and an ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding scenic mountains. Boating facility at Banasura Sagar dam will help you travel between small islands in speed boat. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09 : Wayanad Sightseeing
After breakfast at 8 AM, full day sightseeing at Wayanad. Visit to Neelimala View Point, where you can have dazzling view of the Meenmutty falls and valleys surrounding it (Off road Jeep hire on direct payment basis). Then proceed to visit Soochipara Waterfalls, a thundering three-tiered waterfall. These falls capture nature at her best. This place is also famous for rock climbing. Pookot Lake (Pookode Lake) - this perennial fresh water lake, nestled among wooded hills, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. Boating facilities and a fresh water aquarium are among the tourist. Then visit to Chain Tree, a chain still hangs from a Banyan tree to mark the spot where a British Colonialist murdered an Adivasi tribesman. Then visit Lakkidi View Point - the gateway to Wayanad, is situated 700m above the sea level, lofty peaks, gurgling streams and luxuriant forests. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 : Wayanad - Mysore
In the morning, after breakfast, checkout the hotel and drive to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore, check in to the hotel and visit St. Philomenas Church, Mysore Zoo, where you can view some of the rare species of wildlife. Then visit World famous Mysore Palace one of the prime attractions of Mysore city & evening visit Brindavan Gardens (KRS) expanded over 150 acres. The musical fountain and light show adds attraction to the garden. Return to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Mysore – Bangalore
In the morning, after breakfast, check out the hotel at Mysore and visit Chamundi hills to get the divine blessings at Chamundeshwari Temple. Then proceed to Srirangapatna, which was the capital of the warrior king Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan, having magnificent monuments.Then drive to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore, you will be transferred to Bangalore and drop at a designated point in Bangalore. Trip ends with the delightful memories of Evergreen Karnataka Western Ghats Tour Package.
